What kind of sewing machine operator are you.

I have this thing about not letting some people use my sewing machines.  In my opinion they sew "too fast".  I don't sew slow but I don't put the peddle down as far as it will go either.  It seems that the people I know who sew fast can't keep their machines working.  I guess my question is, does sewing with the peddle down as far as it will go, harm the machine?  I compare it to, how long would a car last if you drove it a 100 miles an hour all the time.  I don't feel I have as much control…

Eye surgery

I had my eye surgery in Portland Me on Thursday and everything went well.  I found out that I "do not" have Macula Degeneration. My condition was called Macular Pucker. Some kind of tissue formation that had to be taken off.  I have to put antibiotic drops in my eye 4 times a day and cover the eye at night for a week and then see my eye doctor in Bangor for a checkup next week. My eye feels like it has sand in it so it waters constantly.  I was able to see the largest letter on the chart…
