I have been commissioned to make a Family Rules baby quilt for my niece, who is gifting it to a friend. The problem I ran into was that I couldn't find any fabric with this popular trend. what to do? I just finished up a Unfinished Object .... This one is Called "Diamonds Galore". I decided to put a scalloped border on it, (which was the first time I had done one) stitching the binding on to the edge was more time consuming than I thought it would be, but stitching it to the back went about as quickly as normal. So, I know it has been awhile, but this one has consumed aLOT of my time, but it is finally finished and I am very pleased with how it turned out. I glued black crystals of varying sizes for the birds eyes. It is hand quilted, so it isn't overly quilted, but I think it looks okay, As much as I like the look of the machine quilted applique quilts, that wasn't in my abilities or budget, so…Continue

Just finished up the central block for my tweets quilt, put the others on hold until I got this one finished , the others can travel with me on holidays. It is going to finish approx 32" but I haven't cut it until the last month is released( should be soon).there will be a sawtooth border acting as sashing between all the blocks and I am also going to attempt the applique border when the instructions are released for that.( it will probably take me a year to get the rest finished LOL).…Continue
Just finished this top, The pattern is great for using those large scale prints you just hate to cut.... got all the fabric for this one on sale, so that was a bonus, I just love those oriental fabrics, and Red is my fave color too!!!
