As you may know, my daughter was diagnosed with MS last summer. She's currently doing well, but has to give herself daily injections to keep relapses at bay. Since her diagnosis, I have found out at least three of my cousins are also affected. Its been a rough year, a lot of tough times, but also a few joyous occasions. I'm glad to see 2010 behind me. I'm hoping for many good things this year....like helping my daughter PLAN HER WEDDING! Yeah! My baby is engaged!! (no, not making her a quilt LOL)
In the immediate future (and most recent past actually) I finally put the quilt top I finished last winter on my sister's longarm, and have, over the last two days, quilted everything but the borders.
I know my last blog was full of depressing news. But I think things are looking up.
Cindy's remains were positively i.d.'ed, and her family held a wake and funeral (Police haven't released the body yet, but at least her family has closure). I feel better knowing she's able to tell the Medical Examiner her story now. Still angry as all h*** that this happened, but I'm confident justice will be served. Normally, I'm a very shy person and only reply to other peoples' blogs, discussions, and photos. Normally, I'm very upbeat and have a slightly twisted sense of humor (the curse of the youngest of five children). But the last few weeks have been pretty tough....
