Been a while

Been a while since I've posted.  Have  been doing spring work outside.  Clearing leaves, weeding, raking, planting, cleaning swimming pool, etc.  DH and I went on "greenhouse shop hop" 2 times last week; just as much fun as quilt shop hop but more expensive.  I told him he couldn't go with next year as we spend a lot more when he goes; he likes instant gratification of a pot in full bloom.  I plant my own pots and wait for the full bloom and like the gratification of doing myself.  Guess I…

Bad at this photo posting

I'm really illiterate when it comes to posting photos on here; will try another.  This was made from CT 'Hearth and Home"  collection; I added a couple of my own so would have enough lights.  Original pattern used reds and whites and was called "Ruby Slippers"; I just call it "Hearth and Home".  I still had fabrics left so made another twin size Turning Twenty pattern; no photo yet.… Continue

Another photo

Sorry this is sideways; forgot to rotate.  This is a panel I cut apart and made a wallhanging for our local nursing home; it's a thank you gift for the six years my DMIL lived there.  It's nurses and doctors with "nurse" slogans below each one.
