Another finish.

Two in the same month!  I know that is nothing to you over-achievers out there, but for me this is HUGE!  Must have been brought on by the blizzard we've had the past couple of days...or maybe that's what caused the blizzard.  

This is the overdue wedding quilt.  It is a queen sized quilt - just a simple big-block setting to showcase the main fabric with a Garden Maze sashing.  I'm calling it the Fruits of the Spirit quilt (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,…

Old dog, new trick

Does anyone else use a blind ladder stitch for binding their quilts?  It was recommended to me once, but I'd never tried it until this quilt.  If done carefully, it makes a virtually invisible stitch.It took me a little while to get comfortable with it after using what I would call an applique stitch all these years (which is also pretty invisible), but I think I like the results.     

Maybe everyone else uses this stitch already and I'm just late to the party.  :D
