When making circle or oval shapes, do you needle turn them or use the starch/template/press method (starch the fabric, gather it around a heat resistant circle/oval template and press)? I've been needle turning a larger oval-shaped piece and seem to do all right until the last few stitches. Can't seem to make that as smooth as I'd like.
