In my post about the baby clutch ball, I mentioned that I wanted to include a piece of chenille in the project but couldn't find my chenille scraps. Well...you guessed it...today I found them!

In anticipation of our first grandbaby in early December, this is my latest baby-craze project. I've also made flannel burp cloths and have other plans in the works.
I pieced the little "football" (for lack of better term) units by machine, stuffed and stitched closed by hand. Stitched the units together by hand. Fun, relaxing, quick project. So...what do you all do to get motivated out of a quilting slump?
Do you just dig in, grit your teeth, and plow your way through it?
Do you step back and give yourself a break for a time?
Do you go to quilt shows for inspiration?
Do you go to a class or try a new technique?
What motivates you and gets your creative quilting juices flowing again?
