I neglected to get pictures of this quilt a year ago when my great-nephew was born. I'd had the border collie fabric for several years. It had originally been intended for my nephew's oldest child, but the fabric didn't come in time. Then he had 2 girls after that, so I just held onto it. When we knew this little one would be a boy, I decided to dig out the fabric and use it up.
The latest baby quilt for my new great-niece: an Irish Chain made completely from fabric from Mom's old scrub tops. I used to make her shirts/scrub tops that she wore the years she worked. She was an RT (radiology technologist or x-ray technician). My niece, who just had her 3rd baby girl, is also an RT. This new little baby shares a middle name with mom (the great-grandma). Mom was delighted - with the name and the quilt.
