Doily with beads

I know, I know! This is a quilt site, BUT experience taught me that quilters are very often creative in other areas too! My question is: are any of you familiar with a beaded doily? Did your mom or granny use them too? For some reason I am not able to post the picture here, but you will find a pic on my page.
