First Dance

My daughter is at her first dance tonight. We home schooled in an area where there were very few home schoolers, so no prom or anything like that. This is the spring formal at her college. She changed her mind about her dress at least 6 times, including coming back to her room to change before leaving and then changing her mind again. I wish I could have seen her, but she has promised me lots of pictures. I'm enjoying this so much--at least as much as she is. I can't wait to hear who she danced… Continue

I Wouldn't Have Said It That Way

Tonight DH and I were out in the yard where he was cutting down the monkey grass so it can grow back but not house rattle snakes--I object to rattle snakes lining the front walk. I told our neighbor we had started a little garden in the backyard. DH says, "Oh, it's just a pot farm..."

Personally, I prefer to call it a container garden. Twenty-seven years and never a dull moment. . .
