I've started a mystery quilt using some neutral fabric I bought at CT quite some time ago on clearance -- don't even know what the collection was nor the name of the fabric.  It is a white background with beige basket weave pattern.  I need about 1/4 yard more or I'll have to make a substitution -- and since it's a mystery I don't know where would be a good place to substitute!  My picture's not good but if anyone would be willing to sell a quarter yard or so, I'd be thrilled!  Thanks!…

Help please, ladies.

Some time ago - okay quite a long time ago - the Golden Thimble website had a free BOM of Quilt barns.  The pattern for the barn was the same on each block but there was an opening to insert a quilt block (as rural barns are often decorated).  The quilt consisted of 9 blocks with 9 different 4-1/2" inserts.  I have finished 8 blocks and in going through my UFO's I found them and thought this would be an easy quilt to finish up.

However.....I have misplaced…

The new Scrap Squad reveals have started. There was one in the magazine, one last week, and mine today. Take a look! One is a holiday quilt and it makes me feel all peppermint and sugarplums! Mine has an autumn palette....only one more pattern to go!

My daughter doesn't quilt, but she does amazing counted cross stitch.  Way back when, she started this series of calendar snowmen.  It took a while - she got a master's, husband, and baby in the meantime but they are all finished and she asked if I could sash them into a quilt.  It turned out so cute I had to share.…

Quiltmaker magazine's Scrap Squad's third reveal is in progress. Eight of us across the US get a pattern in advance of the issue's debut and make a scrappy version and I really like this month's! The pattern is called Spinout by Barbara Cline and can be found in the July/August issue of Quiltmaker which should be on your newstand this week!

They are revealing the eight scrappy quilts one at a time this time and today's my day! I made a baby quilt but I've had a sneak peak at all of them…

Anyone else not getting emails when someone in your group posts? I came home from work and was surprised that although I got several other emails, there were none from QWU. It worked yesterday and everything seems to be "clicked" correctly. ?????????
