Help... How do I bind an inside corner? Am trying to bind a cross shaped piece. I can do the outside corners but am stumped as to how to get the inside corners flat.

Thanks.

Made a mini table runner from a full size one which had rounded the inside corners. I didn't find out why they were rounder until I was at the binding stage, boy was it a strugle to get it to go the way I wanted. I pinned and hand sewed it. The next time I think that I would use binding made on the bias and do it single rather than double the way you do on a blanket. It does go, just takes patience and the site that Sunshine found is much better than any I came up with. The pictures are clearer and the directions are good.

My casserole carrier is a cylinder, with a casing in the top for 2 cords to go into ( buttonholed openings), and 2 (4" wide X 1/2 width of fabric) handles (hemmed with bias tape) inset into the bottom seam. Very simple to make with 14" circle and 42" X 9" rectangle.
I love the fabric of yours!

Thanks. The tutorial was just what I needed. I was always afraid to cut into the corner.

By the by. It's a casserole carrier. That's why it's such a funny shape.

I'm sorry, I wish I had an answer for you, but I've never tried it. Someone on here should have the answer - if they don't, I'd be surprised. I just did a search and found this site... maybe it will help. Good luck...http://ankastreasures.wordpress.com/2009/06/01/how-to-bind-inside-c...
