Quilt With Us

We've been to Yuma, Casa Grande, Tuscon, staying overnight in those towns and exploring other town and places there, since we left San Diego. Tombstone, is a touristy place, but really enjoyed it. I've been collecting fat quarters from every quilt shop I've been in and hope to make a quilt from my travels. Last night, we stayed in Florence, AZ at a nice RV and very friendly people. Today, were going to Phoenix, where we'll probably stay 2 weeks. Will go to some Seattle Mariner's games, see friends, go shopping and enjoy the weather. We could get some rain, but that's okay. we've had 90 degree weather and it's a little warm, but not complaining, because I'm not home in the cold dreary rain. I haven't had time to get my sewing machine out or even cut any material. To much to see and to much to do. Have a great day!

Argh!  I wish I could trade places with you.  No snow here in Moses but the pass was closed last night and it's snowing in Spokane right now.  The wind here makes it feel really cold.  I'm glad to hear you're having fun.  And you're right...it rained like crazy last weekend in your area.  Enjoy your trip.

Chances are we "crossed paths" and didn't even know it....LOL.  We go into CA as far as Heber (south of El Centro), occasionally go to San Diego, then come back out through Yuma and Eloy on our way to Charlotte.  We were in Heber Wednesday afternoon, spent the night in Eloy last night.  Tonight we are in Odessa, TX.  Don't have to rush so we are driving daytime hours.  DH drove today and it about drove me nuts just riding.  Have wanted to go to Tombstone but haven't yet.

I have a friend that has a place in Phoenix.  They do have good quilt shops there - she likes Quilts with a Z.  Some of the shops there have a monthly sales based on color, like one month it might be pink the next blue.  We had snow here yesterday, but today  I was pleased when I got up and checked the temp - it was 21 degrees.  That's the warmest morning temp we've had in quite awhile.  Hope it keeps up.
