Quilt With Us

June 19-22, 2013 at the Rural Thimble (located behind Miller's Dry Goods). Limit of 10 participants. There are 4 openings left. Go to www.theruralthimble.com to see the facility. $30. deposit due with registration, $184 due at check in. Contact Linda Koller for further information.

There is one opening left. If interested, please contact me asap.

There are now 2 openings available. Unfortunate circumstances caused one of our participants to drop out so please keep her in your prayers. Meanwhile, we need to hurry up and find 2 participants so planning can be completed and kits can be mailed out.  So if any of you are interested or you know someone who may be interested, please contact me asap!!

As of 6/1/13 there are still 2 openings left. Those who are registered, your final payment of $184 must be mailed to me as soon as possible. The coordinator at Rural Thimble called me today and prefers to have one check instead of checks from everyone. There are only 19 days till retreat so start checking your lists to make sure you have everything. Don't forget your Sun Bonnet Sue exchange blocks and don't forget to sign them.

Check in time is 9:00 am on the 19th. If I'm not there, she (Mary) will start checking you in. My goal is to  be there by 9:30. Since we did not plan for breakfast that morning, everyone should plan on stopping for breakfast on the way there.

Any questions, please contact me by PM please. 19 more days and counting........

Erin, I just can't wait to meet you! Call whenever. I'm home most of the time unless I have a doctor appt. Since I can no longer drive, I'm pretty much homebound. I sometimes forget to take my cell with me when I take Indy out. Just leavea message with your phone number and I'll call you. Can't believe it's 10:30 already. I've got to get to bed. Been up since 3:30 am. Will talk to you soon.  Hugs. Linda

The balance of $184 is collected upon checkin. The exchange quilt block is an 8-1/2" Sunbonnet Sue. And don't forget you make 10 blocks since there are 10 participants. Betweens, I'm going because I'm the hosting the retreat! At  previous  retreats like this we worked in teams for each meal and maybe the last meal we all go out to a restaurant. I hope to take photos this year. Last year my camera decided to take a vacation and not work. Too bad you can't make it to the retreat I love to have you there. hugs.

I would love something like this but it's costly when you have to fly in.  My friend from England is coming again for the month of August so I'm starting to save my money to do things with her.  But it does sound like allot of fun.  I'm not sure at the moment if I will go on the bus Shop Hop in the Spring.  I have gone the past few years but it's a long day and I'm trying to use up the fabric I have so not sure I want to be tempted to buy more.  lol  But by the time Winter is over I'll probably be ready to escape from here for a day.

Irene, when we toured the place, we were in awe.  They thought of everything except for someone to cook the meals. We have to do that...the one thing I don't like to do and is difficult for me to do right now. But I think I might have everyone work in teams once I have a full roster.

Wish you would sign up and come join us. We could sit out on the back porch and talk all night!!
