Quilt With Us

I haven't been able to do much quilting for the past 6 months, but I couldn't resist making a few new things for a spring cheer-up after a winter that didn't want to end.  I have this wallhanging in my sewing room for now.  Using orange is rare for me! I also made this simple little pillow from a magazine pattern I'd saved from a few years ago.

If it weren't for the wind I'd be outside tending to the garden.

Love both projects...doesn't take much sometimes just to change the look of the room! It's Spring and time to freshen up!

I love the 3-D sunflower Barb.  The pillow is really nice.  PQ is right - some times we just need to make quickie projects to get our juices flowing again.

Barb, that sunflower is a winner!  I love it!  The pillow is nice, too.  Sometimes those little projects are just what we need to give us some encouragement and satisfy that need to create.
