Quilt With Us

A lot has happened since I've last posted, but I have kept up reading QWS blogs.  My DH and I have moved to Florida this May.  We figured it was the right time for us.  My DH has trouble with walking in ice and snow.

We haven't moved into our house yet because the closing date isn't until July, but we had to get out of our house and we moved in with DHs sister.  Now we are looking for jobs here.  I've got an interview on Wednesday and I know that will go well.  Positive attitude I'm having.

It's a big change moving here, I have one daughter living in FL and left two in Illinois.  Along with my three grandchildren.  Now that's the hard part.

I'm missing my sewing machine, so I am now crocheting.  Anything to keep my hands busy.  All of our stuff is in a storage shed can't wait to let them free.

I just wanted to say hi and hopefully keep up with posting.

My husband's cousin moved to FL a couple years ago from here, Indiana. I am anxious to go visit! I have never seen the ocean. Any of them! Lol. Good luck!

I hope you enjoy Florida as much as I do.  We have been here a year, and love it!

Best Wishes on your move.  Leaving family and friends is the most difficult part of moving when it's long distance.  I bet you will see lots of company when they want to get out of the snow for a week or two during the Winter.  It's like living at the lake in the Summer.  People you never see like to visit on hot Summer days.

Good luck with the move!  Sounds exciting, yet terrifying at the same time...I have a big problem with change ;-)  It will be so nice for you when you can get all your things unpacked, so you can really feel like it's a home.

Hope this is a good change for you and that the moving-in process goes well.  Think what a happy day it will be when you are reunited with your sewing machine!  :D
