I went to the DM quilt show this year and had a great time. So many beautiful quilts to see. I took too many workshops but I learned a lot and met a lot of very nice quilters.
Now I am home practicing my free motion quilting. YAY!! How liberating, to be able to quilt my own projects. I'm still in the practicing stage, but someday (cloud over my head , dreaming of completed projects).
I did look at the long arms and REALLY would like to have one. I think the one I liked the best was the A-1. I liked how the handles moved all around so that you could long arm quilt even sitting down. I felt like I had more control because I was able to rest my arms on the side of the quilt frame. Also I took a workshop with
Renae Haddadin, Awesome Quilter. She had some of her quilts on display, stunning work, and that is the machine she has. Do you think I could quilt as good as her if I owned one of those??? :) Oh well, back to practicing my FM. I really do love that too. :)
Can't til show time next year.
