Quilt With Us

I wasn't holding my breath on this one. Our manager likes to change things alot.  I think he enjoys it. I am on vacation. And the bonus: it's just me and the dogs in the house for the week.  I know I have the Christmas shopping to do, and running mom around as usual. Personally I hope I don't slip up and tell her I'm on vacation.  She'll want to run around all week.  My plans?  Not a whole lot.  Going to finish the borders on the last quilt top and get another one started.  I am not going to answer the phone when the company name shows up as the Id on the cell phone.  I am not taking personal calls from co-workers complaining about work.  I am not going to go to work because someone didn't show up for work.  What I do get to do is stay up late!  Watch TV all day, sew, oh yeah and sometime this week I get to meet daughters doctor boyfriend.  He is a Physical Therapist (sp?) I wish he had been a chiropractor, I could use one of them in the family. I had to promise not to talk bad about her, make embarassing remarks about her, start a fight with her in the restaurant or tell stories of the trouble she use to get into and not mention the previous bf's. This could be a long quiet dinner.

Atta girl, Kathy!  Enjoy your week, don't answer the phone, watch all the wonderful movies on hallmark and lifetime, and sew, sew, sew; quilt, quilt, quilt! More photos, please!

I am so glad you are claiming some time for yourself, Kathy---and I agree with Pam!!!  At least, you could hint at those things and make your daughter nervous, right?  My DD censors all her pictures from growing up---anything before 7 and after 17 is okay to show BF, but not the ones in between---and I love ones like the picture where her hair is blowing and she looks like a dandelion!

It's a parent's right to tell the embarrassing stories!

Ha!  Don't frown on a Physical Therapist for a possible SIL!  After all of the knee surgeries, I worked with several, and they are "golden"!  Have a great vacation.
