Quilt With Us

Ahhh I wish I were on the road trip with BJ

Well half my weekend is over. :( I just checked the blogs and saw BJ's pictures. How beautiful. Here I sit working on my quilt and ripping out the quilting on my friends quilt on the longarm. I didn't like the design. So on top of trying to get some quality quilting time, I've heard the rumor that our district merchandiser was at the store today, and not a happy camper to boot. So I avoided answering the phone, I will hear more tomorrow I'm sure. My other half is inbetween jobs. Tomorrow he starts orientation for the new job and will be gone until late afternoon. I've already had my crisis for the weekend. My daughter has a serious eye infection as well as asthama. I'm surprised. She actually went to see the doctor today. Then called for money to get her pescription filled for her inhaler. We had lunch together and then she wanted coffee to take to class for her group study, what are moms for??? So now that I'm broke, tomorrow is shaping up to be stay home day. I should be able to get something done but knowing my luck something will pop up, it always does.

Ahhh Lilo and Stitch.... my youngest monsters! They are doing great. You know how a cat purrs when it sleeps... one of them and I'm not sure which one, has a little purr of its own going on. I am serious, I've never had a puppy that did anything like this one does. Mom has tappered off on feeding them so I've picked up the pace trying to get them to start eating on their own. It seems the only way to get them to do that is to spoon feed them. They will lick the milk off the spoon but not out of the dish. Have I mentioned that nothing in my family is normal???

Kathy, know exactly how you feel. Get up in a.m. think "Ok today I will sew or quilt or something in that department. Well not long, oh yah that needs to be done, or I have to run to the store or someone calls and needs help with this or that and before I know it, it is bedtime and no sewing or quilting done today. Oh well, no sense getting stressed out or then you will have a heart attack and maybe no sewing or quilting for weeks. One day at a time. How are Lilo and Stitch doing?

Samson held up a building and we women have to hold up the whole world most days.
