Quilt With Us

All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go......

Quick as I can update. I've had a horrible time with this virus(?) we've had. Tuesday I had terrible pain when inhaling, then passed out and ended up here in the hospital. Heart and lungs are good, and it's not the flu. Still not sure what happened. From the way I felt on the way here I thought I had a collapsed lung or something! I never thought I was a "sissy", but apparently I'm not as tough as I thought I was! Looks like I get out today, which is good because my mom passed away last Saturday. Mom was always there for me and I will miss her like crazy. Tonight we have calling hours, and tomorrow the burial. In a bit I will call the florist to finalize the flowers from the great grandchildren, two big and one mini Gerber daisies in a simple vase. Piper chose hot pink, and I chose orange from my great nephew Hunter, and the mini Gerber will be for my oldest DD's baby boy, who is due in march. (So I'm gonna be a grandfather ;) )!

Oh Terry, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom...I know how close you were. To have to deal with this hearache and be sick is too much. Stay strong and know that we are thinking about you.

My deepest sympathy on your Mom's passing.  My thoughts and prayers and with you and your family. Please take care of yourself.

Sympathy being telepathed to you over your mother.  I hope you have some fabric that was hers that you find in your stash every once in while for a warm memory.

Terry, please accept my condolences.  It is never easy to lose a parent we were close to regardless of how old we are at the time.  I hope you get to feeling better too.

Oh my, so much to deal with all at once. Hope you are feeling better, physically. So sorry to hear about your Mom. No matter what the age, it is always hard to lose a loved one.  I'm glad you will be able to be at the service. Do take care of yourself and know that you have many friends here supporting you.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom.  Hope you are feeling much better by now.  What a scare!  Hopefully the excitement of that new baby coming will be a good distraction.

You have my most sincere sympathy for the loss of your mom. Mine passed away last year at the age of 91. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing away. With the mysterious illness, you must be doubly distressed. Do take care of yourself. Congratulations on the new baby.

Terry, I'm sorry to hear of your illness on top of the grief of your mom's passing.   You've had a lot of stress in your life lately, so that's probably played a part as well.  I hope the service is full of lovely memories to start you on the road to healing - both physically and through the grief process.  With heartfelt condolences.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother passing away and your illness.  It's been so long since I lost mine but we were very close that there's not a day goes by without thinking about her.  My prayers are with you.
