Quilt With Us

I neglected to get pictures of this quilt a year ago when my great-nephew was born.  I'd had the border collie fabric for several years.  It had originally been intended for my nephew's oldest child, but the fabric didn't come in time.  Then he had 2 girls after that, so I just held onto it.  When we knew this little one would be a boy, I decided to dig out the fabric and use it up.

Carol Ann - how could you tell?  hahaha!  There is none of the collie print, bandana print or the binding print left.  I'm using it up one piece at a time.  The current trend of piecing that backs is working in my favor these days.

Pam - Thanks!  The baby's daddy has always had a Border Collie around.  Good thing they had baby #4! :)

Don't you just love the "novelty" fabrics like the Border Collie?  You can always find the little quilt (or little person) that they are just perfect for!  I'll bet you used every scrap, including the back.
