Quilt With Us

I can't remember if it will be 2 yrs or 3 in Sept that I took a class from Bonnie Hunter, but I finally finished piecing the top that I started in that workshop.  It is called Bricks in the Barnyard from her Scraps & Shirttails II book.  Her version has a braided border, but I decided to do a piano key border instead and am very pleased with how it turned out.  My friend Becky will quilt this for me in the fall.  One question though - why is it we can use this many scraps and still not see a dent in our pile?  I was able to use both 2" squares and 5" squares that I cut down to make the piano key border & my totes were still filled to the brim!

What a fun one, Janet!  Great way to use up scraps.   I don't know about your house, but it seems those scraps secretly multiply at this house.
