Last weekend I was lucky enough to take classes from Sharon Schamber at the Indian Summer quilt show in Fargo - what an incredible quilter! We did one designing whole cloth quilts. I'm not sure if I will ever get mine made but it is on my bucket list. I'm caught up on customer quilts at the moment so maybe I can focus on a few projects of my own. My trick or treat quilt got a red ribbon so that was fun to see. I had a vein ablasion done on my left leg this morning so am going to recouperate this weekend. Took a nap when I got home and woke up to some pain so took a pain pill and am waiting for it to kick in. I'm hoping by tomorrow I will feel like heading to the sewing room. I think I will take some time and watch some quilting videos on QNNTV - seems like there is never enough time to do that.

What a great opportunity to take those classes. I've watched some of her videos and always learn something. Hope your recovery is speedy and that you have some time to work on your own projects - just for fun.
I hope your feeling better soon Jan. I love watching sewing video's on the computer. I have learned many things from them. Congratulations on the red ribbon for your trick or treat quilt. Take care of your leg and don't over-do.
