Quilt With Us

Just finished my latest Mini. this one is 11x14 including the boarder. yes it is PP. I used a pattern of Carol Doaks and there were d14 pieces to each of the quarter blocks. a lot smaller than I am used to! might of bitten off more than I could chew, but got 'er done this morning. I am really really starting to like the looks of the black for the back grounds. it really sets the colors off quite a bit better.

now question for you mini makers...........does the quarter block count as a block? I know a true mini, the blocks is supposed to be 1" ( 12:1) . just wondering. since the total block size on this is 3" and the quarter block is only 1 1/2" just wondering how close I am comming to a true mini. and yes I also under stand that it is considered a mini if the blocks are 4" or less and the total quilt can not be bigger than 30" just wondering, and correct me if I am wrong on any of the things that I have said
