I just finished this "One Fabric Wonder" attempt and found a nice setting curtesy of Quilt Magazine, Oct/Nov. 2012. A design by Mari Martin of Connecting Threads. Thank you Mari for a very adaptable design!
I had to adapt the pattern to fit blocks slightly larger than the pattern suggested, resulting in a ful size quilt top. The blocks were an attempt at the "one fabric wonder" using striped fabrics cut on the diagonal. It didn't work quite right with the original concept so I made up the blocks from very large yardage of striped fabric which I loved and bought too much of and I've been looking for simple settings to show off the OFW blocks. This is now #2 quilt from this fabric. BTW This pattern would make up nicely in a QOV project too.
The next one is also using the OFW blocks in another setting. (Same fabric)
