Ohhh, I like the first on (all of them, actually). I have bought them at the local antique shop for $200.
I would love the peach flowered baskets!
P.S. I would not let them go for an auction, without setting a reserve on them of at least $200. My Nelson quilt group recently put one up for silent auction and drew a final bid of $400. On the other hand, a vintage "State Flowers" (48 of them) quilt I donated to my local fire department for their silent auction only $drew a final bid of $75.
I don't know but one name offhand, but there are accredited quilt appraisers available, in fact a society of accredited appraisers. Check out the AQS (American Quilt Society) website for an appraiser near you. I had one of my heirloom quilts appraised by Nancy Kirk of Omaha, NE. at the Stuhr Museum in Grand Island several years ago. She was knowledgeable and, I believe, gave an honest opinion, pointing out the good and bad points of the quilt. I could get $2,500 for the quilt, especially if I sent it to either of the coasts, since quilts are common enough in the mid-U.S. that nearly everybody has one.
Wow, beautiful!
Lovely, lovely quilts! I can’t help, but maybe a local quilt guild has some members with expertise?
Carol, I hope you can find someone more knowledgeable than me to help give you a good estimated appraisal value. Of course, in my opinion, they are all valuable! Some lovely pieces of work.
All hand quilted
