Quilt With Us

If anyone is interested how about lets put together a or some baskets after christmas of things to send to "Linda Sue" to help keep her busy and not let her get depressed. It could be fabrics, patterns, etc. , books or anything she could do while recovering.Denise and I talked and I think Linda is concerned this could stop her from sewing. She said they need to figure out ways to allow her to sit at the machine in a wheelchair if need be. If you want I will be glad to accept things on her behalf and pay for the shipping and put together the basket(s) and send them to her. Anyone got any ideas??? Contact me if you do. Hope I am not overstepping my boundary by asking about this!!!

I sent my first card today.  I would love to be included in whatever is organized for her.  Either as a group or sent individually would suit me fine.  Let us know what is decided!

So sorry to hear about Linda Sue.  I would love to send some charm squares and a card.  If she likes doing English Paper Piecing, I could send some paper pieces and fabric to do a Grandmother's Flower Garden project.  We would have to decide on the size of the paper pieces.  Just let me know.

Sharon, I would love to be a part of helping Linda in her recovery process. Just let me know when the time comes what has been decided and I will pitch in also. I'm in the dark. What happened to LInda? She is a sweet lady and I'm so sorry to learn she is ill.

Great idea Sharon!  I'm in.  Could you send me a message privately with your mailing address?  I'll try to get something in the mail before Friday.

Please let me know how this is going an what you might like for her. I know how depressing illness can be.  gail heinold   does she like a bright color for a fat quater maybe? or we could make blocks from her friends for a lap quilt of love

What a nice idea!  Do we have the address to send to her?  I love the idea of putting a charm or two in a card and sending it off!

This is going to be such fun and I know she will be greatly touched and appreciative.  Of course, I'm in!

I will donate charm squares from connecting threads, just let me know where they should be sent.  Connecting threads, how about setting up an account/ basket where we can add things, pay for them and then they are forwarded to "Linda Sue"?

I think small projects are the best to keep her interest. I hope they have wifi in rehab...the best medicine is contact with us...cards are a must...along with pictures of anything amusing! Does anyone have a quick pattern for pj gown or bed jacket? Something easy for her to slip on and for Dale to wash...you get so sweaty just laying around. Just a few suggestions!
