Quilt With Us

OK, I've had a hiatus and absolutely must get back to it...quilting that is.  I've been laid up the last two days with a broken toe, yes this is the third time I've smashed the same toe in a year.  Pretty clumsy of me.  This time I was awoken by a noise, got out of bed, peeked out the window and made my way back and smacked the toe on our bed post which is a huge claw footed mahogany sleigh bed.  My DH calls me a cat as I can see more in the dark than he, but on this night I guess I just wasn't awake enough to see.  So, I've been laid up watching Downton Abbey repeats and finishing a couple crochet items in my basket as well as reading through an Improv quilt book.

Autumn is my favorite time of year with all the wonderfully warm and vibrant colors in nature.   This may be an old quilt (Blocks completed in 1999, quilt finished in 2014) that took me a long time to complete, but I just love the colors.

You need to wear steel toed foot wear. lol  I have to chime in on Fall being my favorite season.  I love the cool air, and vibrant colors.  Your quilt is gorgeous.

Ouch.  It is bad enough to break a toe once, but 3 times.  Yikes!  Love the quilt.  Fall is my favorite time of the year so fall fabrics are also my favorites.
