Quilt With Us

Dear Friends,
I've not been in contact for quite awhile. I spent two months in Arizona this winter and had a wonderful time connecting in person with Cornwoman/AZ. However, I didn't get to see her a often as I'd hoped to either. However, I have reservations to rent a place to stay for a couple of months next winter and then I'll have my own transportation. That will make it easier to do the activities that I want to do, I will have a sewing machine down there and hopefully I'll be able to get some quilting done.

Two weeks after I returned from Arizona I had knee replacement surger for my right knee, so since then I've been working on my exerises and going to the Rehab Hospital for therapy. I can see the "light at the end of the tunnel" and look forward to doing some sewingl

I have fabric for a Spinning wheel top to make a quilt for my daughter's guest room and I'm anxious to get going on it. I'm eager to study the tutorials on h-s-triangles.
I will post a phot when I get it done! Happy spring and quilting to you all! Ginger

I know what you mean about bringing your machine next year. We've been in Fl for two months and will be glad to see my sewing room! Glad your surgery went well.

Good to hear from you, Ginger! Did you return home to some water? With the amounts of snowfall we've had all winter (that started WAY too early in my opinion), there's bound to be some water running with the spring thaw. Hopefully the flooding won't be as bad for you this year as it has been at times. Glad to hear your surgery recovery is going well. Hope you continue to progress. It is a beautiful day here in southwestern Nebraska. The sun is shining and I think it is over 50*!!! Looking foward to seeing photos of your quilts.

So great to hear from you! WOW! How fun that you got to be with Cornwoman - I'm jealous (in a good way).
Sounds like you are recovering well from your surgery - hooray!!! It is always nice when you can see that light at the end of the tunnel.
