Quilt With Us

Well it is back to the real world, paying bills and cleaning and washing.  I am hoping to get to my sewing machine today and start on a quilt for my new great granddaughter.  She was born December 2nd.  I have not made a quilt for myself in a long time.  I am always doing one for a client.  My sister and her hubby are on the way home from So Padre Island.  They decided that being home would be better.  The DIL"sare looking right now for doctors to get him into.  So far it looks like the University of Ks.  It is going to be a long road for them and I think they will probably be staying with us a lot.

I hope everyone had a great New Year.  We went to bed early as both of us were tired and I am still a little under the weather.  Went to our freinds yesterday for our yearly feast of black eyed peas.  It is always a lot of fun.

I will be heading back to my shop next week to work on some new things I learned at a class I took at Mo Sewing Machine company.  They have a lot of great classes coming up this year.  I plan on taking most of them.

Have a good day.

Hope you sister and BIL find a great Dr .  Is University of Ks Kansas??  With diagnosis  of brain tumor they have a long hard road ahead of them.  Wish them the best.

Hard to find classes, at least I have a hard time.  Seems class I'm most interested in is always on a day I'm working.  Enjoy, good to keep learning.  Good to have that escape time.

Enjoy those classes.  Hope you find them interesting and motivating.  It's good to have something like that to take our minds off the trials of real life sometimes.
