Quilt With Us

In 2011 I started making blocks from the book "Four Seasons at Minglewood" by Debbie Roberts.  As I am prone to do, I made a few blocks & then went on to other projects.  In the interest of finishing some of these older projects I got out the blocks a few weeks ago & put them up on my design wall & then made a couple more.  Then after giving it more thought I decided to make a bed runner instead of a large wallhanging. It is 20" x 92" so there are 2 blocks hanging off the side that you can't see in the picture.    I finished hand stitching down the binding last night & I'm very pleased with how it looks at the foot of my bed.

Love the nice spring colors, Janet! It looks great on your bed. Such a cheery room with the yellow walls and the pretty bed runner.

Thanks everyone.  Barbara, please feel free to steal this idea.  I figure if we can have table runners there is no reason not to have a bed runner.

That runner is just beautiful on your bed!  The colors are soft and sweet.  A bed runner has been on my "to do" list for a few years now.  Ah, someday...

It's beautiful Janet. It really looks nice on your bed. Good way to finish up a UFO.

It is beautiful. I will have to steal your idea to get rid of some orphan blocks around here.
