Quilt With Us

Don't know if it's appropriate or not, but posted 3 of my graduation pictures - there's me, me with my son, Robert, and me with my dear hubby, Ray. It was the best Mother's Day gift I've ever had and a memory I'll enver forget. For my hubby, it was an early anniversary gift. He talked me into going back to school in August of 2007, a month after we were married, and I finally graduated on May 7, 2007 - our 2nd wedding anniversary is July 21st. This man is unbelieveable. He makes U-turns for quilt shops in snow storms and once inside announces if I see anything I like I can buy it. When I try to be good and stick to just a fat quarter or two that I need, he comes over with several patterns and kits and innocently asks "don't you think these are cute. Might look nice in our bedroom, or on our wall, or would make a great gift, or ... or..." I've had ladies in shops ask if I rent him out or ask if he has a twin.

So forgive me if I shouldn't have posted the pictures. Promise there are quilts in the making and as soon as I can, I'll post pictures of some of the antique toy quilt blocks that I've made.

Have a great day and a brighter tomorrow. May each and everyone of you enjoy all the best that life has to offer. - Namaste - Terri

Thanks to all for the congrats and best wishes. I'm afraid that Ray is a one of a kind and has no brothers. As for cloning, I don't think the world is ready for 2 of him, I KNOW for a fact they couldn't deal with 2 of me! Hope one and all have a happy 4th of July and many thanks to all the men and women in the armed forces, and civilians behind the curtains, who continue to make our 4th of July's possible. We all need to remember that "freedom" isn't free. Namaste - Terri

Congratulations on your recent graduation. It's wonderful to have such a supporting husband. If you can find a way to "clone" him some of us out here would love to have a duplicate. Best Wishes

Terri, Congratulations for achieving such an honor, you are a true inspiration.
"Namaste".....to you too.....I loved it when I read that word, my highschool friend and I always close our letters with it. It says so much, so simply. Hugs on your achievements, it is most certainly never too late.....that, and constant learning helps keep the ole'brain running sharp.
