Quilt With Us

Well, since my name begins with S, I dont' show up in the b-day list anymore.  But I wanted to let everyone know that a glorious day was spent looking at material.  First at Buggy Barn and then later at Quilt Patch Lane.  At Buggy barn, we were greeted by a new (to me) yellow lab named Riley, and her best friend, a chestnut gelding named Gus.  Both were friendly and wanted to be petted, and there were lots of new things to look at inside.  Found exactly what I was looking for.  :-)

Then Jeannine S/NE (my sister), Marjorie/WA (my Mom), and me headed into Spokane to visit Aunt Dorothy, my grandfather's youngest sister who will be 102 this Christmas.  It was nice to spend some time with her and she was able to recognize us.  Next we picked up Jeannine's old college roommate and took her with us to Quilt Patch Lane, where I LOVE to shop.  She showed us lots of samples using the Little Twister rulers and other projects that were just too cute.

Needless to say, all the birthday money received was spent - all on stuff I wanted.  LOL    :-D

Hope everyone can have b-day wishes come true too.  (Oh, and a free slice of pie @ Shari's didn't hurt either!)
