My little dogs have been melting, too! I love your cute dog and your daughters rat. I had a whole litter of rats years ago they are so cute and such fun pets.

Fourth of July fireworks is ok as long as it's done by professionals. Several mishaps/injuries were reported in the neighborhood that day. And to make matters worse, some neighbors didn't have any concept of time - fireworks were going off until 2 am. and my poor puppy was a trembling 90-pound blob in my bedroom.
The flowers are fabulous.

Your flowers are beautiful!! Endora looks like she is handling the summer quite well as does the rat. I think poor Shamus needs a wading pool. He might even be persuaded to share :)
