Debbie...I see your comment is only 25 mins old & you definitely hit the nail on the head. I'm putting off doing anything because I'm over thinking it. Well, what if I do this or that & don't like it..or what if I do this or that. I think the "fear" of making the "wrong" choice, is keeping me from moving forward. Also, this is the first "pricer" item I have worked on that someone has shown interest in purchasing...so for me that adds another entire level of the fear component. I keep telling myself just do what I like and if they want to buy it I can deal with that then. So here's to getting more of the "bottom" blocks pieced this afternoon! Thanks to all that gave opinions!

Yeah! You got it.  The bottom is my fav too.  Now just "do it" before more doubts trickle in.

Georgia, are you squinting?  I always squint when trying out options; doesn't help much, but it gives my face lines  character.  I like the bottom row the best.

I vote for the bottom one. It does set the center off and goes with the theme.

I was thinking like Pam...maybe a different border color to give some contrast to the purple.  But, the bottom line is, play away!  You will know what's right for your quilt.  Something will just jump out at you, and it will be beautiful.

I like the blocks set on point - for some reason it diminishes the "busyness" of the border blocks in yesterday's picture.  Maybe because there is more background for the eye to rest.  I think your instincts are good and you'll be happiest when you go with what you know you like.  I agonize in making these types of decisions, too, so I can relate!  :)

Problem is they all work!! I like bottom set on points blocks too- go with your instinct.

I like the bottom set also...have you tried a different background color that is in the blocks other than purple to see what kind of contrast that would give? I know it is easy to over think this! You're getting there!
