I tried these... but made my cookies from scratch... the cookies were a little too 'cracked' when they came out of the oven (compared to her pics) but I managed to make up a few... my straw not only filled up, but it got soft from the heat, too. I only made two holes, too (cuz I forgot I was supposed to poke four)... tasted great anyway :)

remember to use a straw to poke the holes so that the cookie dough punched out goes up the straw. because they are cooling fast you don't have time to flip the cookies over to get the dough hole out of the way. have extra straws available becuz they get plugged up fast.

Thanks Polkadot. These look amazing. I checked out the website too. They would make a perfect snack for quilting weekend too. Thanks for sharing.

ok i have realized that u cannot get ahead of yourself and make more than 15 cookies at a time. after they cool, you cannot get the straw in. mine got a little messy and i ended up making just two holes instead of four. they look okay but i wouldn't advise it.

ok i made them. i got he betty crocker peanut butter mix that comes in those soft bags. paid $1.69 for the mix. i cooked them 8 min 30 sec. they came out great. i didn't put the chocolate on tho. have a straw for each batch of 15 cuz the straw fills up. they look kinda of mushy when u are pushing them down but after they cool, they are perfect. can u say - adorable!!!!

Very cute & very clever. And, colored wafers would make colored buttons, hmm. I like the "bigger" idea too. Thanks for sharing!
