Button Flower
Grab your button baskets, boxes, or jars and get ready to have some fun! This is a great idea for showing off many of your favorite or heirloom buttons. Button Flower Mini Quilt, from the book Quilts from Textured Solids, is my latest project for the Gifty Galore group. Our Mirage fabrics were absolutely perfect for this project and it went together very quickly using fusible appliqué. After quilting I laid out all the buttons the way I wanted them and then used the tiniest amount of fast drying tacky glue so they would all stay in place while I hand sewed each one down. The book shows it matted and framed but I think it looks very cute on our new Wire Table Stand with the Daisy Header. I already have a line of people wanting to be on the receiving end of this gift. I may have to make more just so I can keep one!

Very nice, The glue idea was smart to hold them in place until you sewed them. I love buttons they add so much to a project.
