Hello fellow quilters,
I posted the following item on the "Discussion" board but I haven't received any comments so I thought that maybe I should have posted it here on my "Blog Spot". So here goes....
My name is Linda Schunk and I am walking in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day again this year. It will be my 5th year walking with my daughter. We need to raise $2300in order to participate in this 60 mile walk. Last year I made a lap quilt to help raise the money I needed and so this year I made another lap quilt.
I am looking for someone who would machine quilt it for me as their donation to my walk. The pattern I used was featured on the cover of the January/February "QuiltMaker" magazine. It was called "Hearts Afloat" I have renamed it "Hearts Full of Hope". We all hope for a cure to breast cancer and that is why we walk. After it is quilted the edge is scalloped so that the 8" blocks around the edge become hearts then the binding is attached. I plan on doing the finishing, I am just looking to get it quilted.
If you can help, please e-mail me at email@example.com.
If you can't help with the quilting but would like to support me on my walk you can donate online and view my personal page at http://www.the3day.org/site/TR/2012/TwinCitiesEvent2012?px=1958826&...
I hope to hear from you soon and thanks for reading this.
I am attaching a photo of the pieced top.
God bless you all,
