Quilt With Us

We have rain today. Welcome lovely, forest fire retardant, rain. I saw blue sky yesterday between moisture systems. I don't remember the last time our sky was that blue since summer began. We have had fires to the west and to the northwest. A horrible summer with 1,000,000+ acres in Montana burned. The smoke has to go somewhere.

Hurricanes, earthquakes, fire--it makes me wonder what comes next on our planet.

Glad to hear you are getting much-needed rain.  What a blessing.

We are having summer like temps this week. Our weather has been all over the place this summer.  Fortunately we have done pretty well with getting enough rain.  The destruction between the fires, earthquakes and hurricanes is just mind boggling.  We have a friend who lives northwest of Mexico City & we have not heard from her so we hope she is okay.

We are desperate for rain here in Eastern Maine also.  The driest Summer we have had in a long time.  I'm glad your getting rain. Forest fires are always a threat during dry Summers.  I hope they get the forest fires in your State out soon.
