Pretty quilt and very good job on the sewing.  Your getting lots of practice and doing a good deed at the same time.  You Go Girl.

Kelly,   that's a beautiful top and will make a child feel warm and cuddly. I, too, am a Project Linus sewer and feel very lucky that the chapter co ordinator lives in my area. I get to go get material and batting every 2 months when we get together to sew. She used to work at the fire station, but now is retired. They still let her use the meeting room since this is a non profit organization. I've made many quilts, finished tops and some sandwiched together. I love doing this. I get to sew, using different things on my machine to make the quilts to my liking. I'm sure that you will really love doing this. And like you said, get to practice and it doesn't cost you anything.
