MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This doesn't have anything to do with quilting but it does have everything to do with Christmas Spirit so I hope you'll forgive the "off topic" post.

My youngest son is teaching English in Japan. He recently volunteered to play Santa at a kid's club in his area. He found white shoe polish worked to color his beard, eyebrows and sideburns. I think he makes a pretty convincing Santa. A few days after this picture was taken he went to a nighttime city event called the Pageant of Starlight (dressed as Santa for fun) and said he was pretty sure he got his picture taken with "every child in Sendai".

How wonderful for your son! He does look like a young Santa.
