Quilt With Us

Hello quilters. christmas is upon us. I just had my first two turkey dinners this week. Tuesday our church had our annual turkey dinner and Wednesday, our quilt guild had our turkey dinner at noon when the meeting was over. Tonight, again I went out with three of my friends and had a christmas get-to-gether at Montanas. Now I have to settle down and finish getting ready for Christmas.
A friend of mine who was very sick sent me a whole box of fat quarters just be fore she passed away. I will think of her every time I take one of them out and use it. I think I should just make a quilt out of them in her honour.

Muriel, sounds like you are going to be turkeyed out before Christmas gets here. Yes, I agree that a memory quilt would be awesome. Want to see some pictures if this is the way you go.

How wonderful for you, how thoughtful of her........ Yes, each time you get into that box you will have more memories of the good times you had together!! Memory quilts are awesome too!

A memory quilt sounds like a good way to use those fat quarters. She'd be pleased to think that you would honor her memory that way. Have a Merry Christmas and God Bless.

I agree with PQ, your friend would love to be honored in that fashion!

You might be "turkeyed out" pretty soon! :0) What a great way to honor your friend. I'm sure it brought her joy to know she gave her fabric away to someone who would appreciate it so much.
