Quilt With Us

I've been working on a Christmas quilt top for our local shop's "Christmas in July" sale. Granted, I'm a little behind the power curve, but that is what I get when I make it up as I go. I used a charm pack, several yards of fabric and a really good seam ripper. The fabric is all Moda's "Kansas Troubles" fabric, so the colors are rich and warm. The pattern is a little irregular (intentional) so it gives a jolt to the more tranditional fabric. (I've been told by the shop owner that I'm good at that!) I'll post photos when I get the last border on. Promise! Anyway, the shop is ready, the Christmas tree is up and decorated and so are other Christmas items. Just the thought tends to cool down the mid to upper 90's that we have been having!
