Quilt With Us

I'm really getting caught up in the Christmas spirit now. Last night was our Advent Tea at church--an annual event that ALWAYS gets me in the true spirit! As is the case with most of you, I'm sure, I'm working on many sewing/quilting projects that are Christmas gifts. With the granddaughters getting bigger, I'm finding that lots of my sewing has to do with them. This year I'm making little aprons, doll clothes and doll quilts. More great ways to use up my stash of fabrics and trims! I'm having fun!

Carol, it sounds like you are having fun. Maybe you could post some pictures so we could see what you are up to.

I made lots of doll clothes for my daughter's baby doll and American girl doll. I've saved the patterns for little granddaughters someday. One year when we were just terribly poor (DH was in seminary), I bought two or three patterns for a dollar each and made a whole wardrobe out of my stash of fabric--and even one matching outfit with a cape and muff for my DD. She still talks about that being her best Christmas ever.
