Quilt With Us

I bought the Connecting Threads quilt kit called City View using beautiful leafy Batik fabrics.  It went together in an impressive 4 hours max.City View PatternHas anyone else made this and quilted it?  My first thoughts were to straight line quilt it, making kind of a grid of the windows.  That seems to clash with the leafy batik.  Yet I don't want busy quilting to obstruct the fabric design.

Has anyone had experiences they would, or wouldn't repeat quilting up this pattern? TIA

Hopefully that link worked.

I love the simplicity of lines. Something so simple makes a dramatic statement. I would do the wavy lines and stitch in the ditch around the blocks. I also like Janets idea of cross hatch. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

If you look at the quilting in your photo, it was cross-hatched.

I think Janet's cross hatching suggestion would work real well.

Would it work to do cross hatch quilting skipping the windows?  That way they would stand out and the quilting would look like it was in the background.
