Quilt With Us

Connecting Threads Quilts of Valor donation!

Since I'm in charge of most of Connecting Threads' PR, I get the pleasure of working with various charities to donate all the finished quilts and projects that our quilters sew up as samples of catalog and web photography. It's one of the most satisfying parts of my job!

Today I'm packaging up 11 quilts for Quilts of Valor. These quilts are going to the National Women's Group Discussion Trauma Recovery Program in California, a program designed to treat women veterans with PTSD.

I'm so glad that these quilts are going to a good home. I hope they brighten someone's day a bit.

Hats off to CT. Thanks for supporting and donating quilts to this cause. I think there is just something healing and soothing about a quilt. Maybe it is the love that is put into making them. Hopefully the recipients will feel blessed by your gifts.

YEAH! The women will truly appreciate them. Just knowing that there are people out there that care is really important to these women. Now they can have something to cuddle with too. We recently send some quilts from our guild to the PTSD center in Ithaca ( I think) N.Y. Got a wonderful letter back thanking us and letting us know how appreciative the women were. Thanks you CT.

Those quilts are beautiful, can't think of any Vet that wouldn't enjoy one of those. Thank you all and to whoever started this for such a worthwhile project. My Son is active duty so this means a lot to me.
