Finally started my Dear Jane; I guess I'm now called a Janeiac. While making some of these blocks I felt like a maniac. A couple of the blocks I made a mistake and left it; no one will know that they aren't exactly as Jane's. I didn't use just piecing technique; also used paper piecing and machine applique. Some days I wish I never started but most days I'm glad I did. Will be a several year project. Here's a photo of what I've completed so far. Some have loose pieces as I still have to machine applique them.

Beautiful blocks. I would love to join the club. I have only made a few Jane.
Wow! You are going to be so glad you did this. It is going to be stunning!
Going to be beautiful! Love your fabrics.
I saw a blue-and-white Dear Jane as an "opportunity" quilt (we don't do raffle quilts in California - wink, wink) once. It was actually "won" by friend of mine and it was STUNNING! Keep at it, June. You have a great start.
Looking good so far June. My friend Lou Ann started one years ago out of just blue & white fabrics, but she has never finished it.
I admire those who tackle a Dear Jane quilt. What an achievement! I like the thought of each block being different, which would keep it interesting. Short-term gratification (completing each block) that will lead to a long-range heirloom project. Looking good!
You brave girl you! Looks great! Keep it up, it's going to be beautiful!
Janeiac, looks like you have a great start on it. Love the fabrics...The nice thing about different blocks is that you can stop at anytime and still have a beautiful smaller quilt. Easy project to take along somewhere. Good luck, it's going to be gorgeous!
