Isn't that the case most of the time during the holidays, running behind. I was able to deliver the charity blanket throws last week.
On Saturday a church in another town runs what they call "Mobile Santa'. What that is a a travel trailer hauled by a pickup. The trailer is all decked out with Christmas lights. They set up specific stops in area towns, so that families can come see Santa. Anyway, one of the stops this year was one block away from our home. When I found this out, I invited our local families over to hang out until it was time for 'Mobile Santa' was due. After their visit with Mobile Santa, I had pop corn and hot chocolate ready for them. We sat out front around our fire pit. No spills in the house. LOL My husband, though he has low vision, loves to bake. So Saturday, all afternoon he baked chocolate chip cookies and pigs in a blanket. The cookies were also handed out around the fire pit. Everyone had a good time.
Saturday as husband baked, I made a gift bag. It was cut work. It came out great.
I did line it so the gift would not 'show through'.
I am heading now to see if I can make some FSL (Free Standing Lace) with organza.
Please have a blessed and Spirit Led week.
