Dispatches From The Road - our trip through the Southwest

Hello everyone.  It has been a while since I last visited.  Been very busy with work, family and some sewing.  My husband and I are currently traveling the southwest with our furthermost destination The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley.  When we travel, we try to stay at some of the more unique accommodations along the way.  Check out my blog Odds and Inns for my daily posts.  I am hoping to run across some quilt shops along the way.  On our previous trip to New Mexico I dropped a few bucks at the Taos Adobe Quilting.

The motel was so cool! In 1967, my parents owned a motel on route 66 in Elk City, OK...that was so interesting to talk with people from everywhere. The interstates did cause many to go out of business...We were able to sell ours. Your trip sounds like a lot of fun...keeping posting! Happy Trails....
