Some of the dithering has subsided, I think, but Betweens asked about the fabrics we're using. Here is how our guild challenge works: each person who participates receives an identical package of fabric, with more or less of each fabric depending on how much the committee buys. (There is no cost to participate other than yearly dues--$10--a lot of our funds come from the sale of our cookbooks. We're about to begin #4.) You have to use some of every fabric, and you can add as many fabrics as you want. There are no restrictions on the kind of project, the size or anything like that. Here are the fabrics....(I'm planning to use the tan tonal at the top for sashing and binding and the one beside it for the swags. I included the two finished blocks and one in progress.)
